We have special events for your family every season of the year.
It’s never too early to learn to love God’s Word. Each school year, our 2nd grade class receives Bibles and our 3 Year Olds receive Bible storybooks to read and cherish.
Lent is a time to prepare for the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. We provide devotional resources for your family on our Parent Resource Table in West Side North, beginning just before Ash Wednesday.
At the end of every spring, we celebrate our 5th grade class moving up to middle school and move all the other elementary classes into their new grades.
VBS (Vacation Bible School) is for kids 3 years old through 5th Grade in the fall of 2018. Make a splash this summer with us at Shipwrecked VBS where your kids will learn that Jesus rescues! Shipwrecked VBS will engage your kids like never before, diving below the surface and anchoring them in the truth that Jesus is by their side through life’s storms. Join us for a week full of fun, new games, incredible music, and a relaxing island getaway setting! So join our crew and come explore how each person is created by God and built for a purpose. Register online HERE or download a registration form HERE.
A new school year means new classes, new teachers and a new chance to learn about how much God loves us. Children’s Sunday School classes begin after a summer break on the Sunday after Labor Day every year. Join us June 24-Sept. 2, 2018 for Children’s Church: our West Side family is having two worship services (9:00 am in WS South and 11:00 am in WS North). During the 9:00 am service, there will be a children’s message and then elementary kids (gr. 1-5) will be dismissed for Children’s Church (walk together to WS North Holy Word Studios). At Children’s Church, we’ll continue to explore God’s word with all sorts of games, songs, snacks, and FUN!
Come for harvest family fun with carnival games, food and fellowship. Costumes are encouraged. This event is FREE and open to the public – just bring a bag of nut-free candy. More details coming this fall.
Don’t miss the reason for the season–we provide devotional resources to keep your family focused on Jesus at our Parent Resource table. Our annual family caroling event is a chance for you and your children to share the joy of Christ’s birth with neighbors. Come for dinner and bundle up as we go out afterward to local neighborhoods and sing. Come back for hot cocoa and fellowship afterward.
