Welcome! We’re so glad you’ve decided to check out the youth ministry at West Side. If you or your kids attend one of our programs, they’ll discover that we’re passionate about three things: discipleship, authenticity, and community.

We have a few options throughout the week that we would love for you to check out:

Sunday school (discipleship) on Sunday mornings for both middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12) meet @ 9:45am in the south building on our campus. When you walk in the doors, head down the stairs. High schoolers turn left. Middle schoolers turn to the right.

Wednesday night BASIC (community) for middle schoolers is a high energy program filled with fun, fellowship, and faith. It meets on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30pm in the south building on our campus.

Wednesday night FUEL for high school students is an opportunity for high school students to grow in their leadership skills. Students who come on Wednesday nights will have a chance to plan out activities for the youth group, develop their own abilities, and even get to practice in our newly forming youth worship band. We meet on Wednesday nights from 6-7:30 in the south building on our campus.

Thursday night Life Group (authenticity) for middle schoolers is an opportunity for middle school students to gather together around the person of Jesus, and talk openly and honestly about where they are in life. It is a safe place were students can be real. We meet on Thursday nights from 6:30-8pm at the Baldwins.

High school Life Groups (authenticity) are similar to the middle school life groups. We have grade based groups, all of which meet on Sunday nights from 6-8pm. Freshman guys and girls meet at Ben Downey’s house, sophomores and juniors meet at the Hassells, and seniors meet at the Critchlows.

You can email Ben Downey (bdowney@westside1.org) for specific addresses.
