English as a Second Language & Citizenship Classes

ESL (English as a Second Language) and citizenship classes are held from September through May. Our classes which will begin September 13, 2016, marks our 20th year offering ESL/Citizenship classes at West Side Church. This is an outreach of West Side and the Missions Council that is offered free to the Tri-Cities community. All of our teachers are volunteers and some have been with the program since its beginning. We offer ESL classes through the spring and citizenship classes in both fall and spring; classes are held simultaneously so family members with different needs can come together to learn. Classes will run September 13, 2016, and run until the end of May 2017 from 6:30-8:30 pm at 603 Wright Ave.-Richland. We also provide free childcare for preschool and elementary students so parents can attend classes. For more information, contact director Robin Morris (509.943.9942) to learn more about this outreach or to volunteer.
