According to the Bible, everything belongs to God. He entrusts His resources to us to use for His purposes. We are not owners. We are stewards.
Psalm 24:1-2 – “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.”
Acts 17:25 – “And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.”
There are several ways to give to West Side Church. In order to maximize your gift, we recommend you give during services, mail us your offering, or use your bank’s bill-pay service. These options have the lowest overhead cost, as your donation will not be decreased by bank/credit card fees. However, for those who would rather give electronically, we also offer online giving.
Envelopes are available on both narthex information boards. If you give cash in these envelopes and want the Finance Office to track your giving, please include a note or write your name on the outside of the envelope.
Many financial institutions offer a bill-paying service. While your gift to West Side Church is not a bill, these services will send a physical check to us through the mail. Please contact your financial institution for more information or feel free to call the church Finance Office.
You can give to West Side by electronic check or debit/credit card through this link. As noted previously, this method will decrease the amount of your gift received by West Side due to fees charged by your bank or debit/credit card company. We also ask that donations not be given through this format if it is putting you into debt to do so.
